Resolution of the WFDB 2nd General Assembly 7 June 2005

We, deafblind people from all over the world, meeting at the General Assembly of the World Federation of the Deafblind in Tampere, Finland, on the 7th of June 2005,

urge all states parties to ensure that all deafblind people get all the necessary provisions to enjoy all their human rights, including:

the freedom of expression in every individual's own language and mode of communication,

the right to qualified education according to our needs,

the right to accessibility to information, information technology, interpreter and guide services and the social environment

and the right to exercise our own cultures.
